i don't know why HS is dancing funny in the middle of nowhere, but it is highly amusing to me XDDDD

Aunties and Uncles have been dropping in at regular intervals since yesterday afternoon. They bring food: they bring breakfast, lunch and dinner. And I can't make then stop ^^; Uncle Stephen has been going down to Chinatown and bringing me noodles, but not letting me pay n_n;;; I can look after myself da na~ There's lots of food in the fridge, and I was going to warm up the pasta ^^; There's more food sitting about the house than I can eat..... I just want to laze about and eat when I feel like it ^^;

No. Actually. if you leave me to eat when I feel like it I have breakfast at 12, lunch at 4 and dinner in the early hours of the morning, when I remember that my tummy requires food.

But I slowly made it to the city =D;;;; And i found 2 novels I have been hunting forever and ever for. They've been out of print for a number or years and I was lucky to stumble on them *_* Aaaaah, I'm so happy. Gonna get a blankie, big soft toy, and cuddle up on the couch to start reading. I also found Lazy Line Painter Jane today, which was nice ^_^ Bought some new blue velvet fudge for my hair, 'cause I know the color is supposed to last 20 washes, but everytime I shampoo, the water turns dark blue and I think all the dye is comming out *_*;

They're clip on earrings n_n I've had my ears pieced so long I forgo clip-ons exist.

Ano~ Novacaine.net will be undergoing some changes very soon =D Only Kins knows what I'm going to be doing so far, and I'll leave it that way so you can be surprised/horrified later XD;;;;;

I shall continue to focus on the front desk guy instead (who walked into the breakroom today, and I didn't talk to him like you said I should XO I kept looking past the person I was listening to and watching him n_n; but it's ok for me. I have to clean up the house sometime soon. Nuh is suddenly telling me that she's going to sleep here one night next week and stare at the stars. Um..... *tears Houshin Engi calender from her wall and hides all her manga*

Mmmmm, including this week I have only 3 weeks of work placement left. Geh~, it seems to have gone so quickly because I was really happy in micro and serology. Nothing like my last placement, which went on and on and on...... Not that I regret going to Mt. Gambier for 3 months last year. I hated every minute of it, but I have the experience under my belt now. Otherwise I'd still be sitting about going "hmmm, I wonder what it's like to work in a rural hospital". And now I've worked in an animal lab, so I won't be sitting about going "hmmmm, I wonder what it's like to work in an animal lab". And I was in a normal lab for my summer holidays, so I've pretty buch covered a broad range of labs, which makes me feel good. ^^

One thing that doesn't seem to change whether you're working with animal of human samples is the doctor or vet's handwriting. It seems that the smarter they are supposed to be, the worse their handwriting is. Someone's theory is that they have to write so much during lectures, so quickly that their handwriting gets messier and messier, until it becomes the illegible scribble we see. Some doctors even seem to assume they are so famous that they don't put their last name on forms. We're supposed to magically work it out from the squiggly mess that's supposedly their first name O_o; Monsutaa, you're meant to be a medico. Explain =O

It won't work though. I'm pretty sure it won't. It'll just annoy the hell out of my parents and they'll just buy me a little silver key pendant that has "21" on it, like they've been planning since last year. I'll take it off the chain and hang it on my earring if it's light enough X] I'll wear it for the first few days I'm 21 and then hang it round the neck of my graduate teddy bear.

But at the beginning of June it looks like I'll be doing some fill in work at the lab. Maybe. Hopefully. My name has been submitted or whatever and Chris said she'd hassle the boss to give me an answer quickly....... uh. The boss might still decide that an extra staff member is not required after all, even though the Microbiologist is hoping that I can. yeah. Or that big-ass contract might shrink. Blah. I'm trying to say that I will have work, without jinxing it XD:;;;; Mustn't jinx it! Mustn't jinx it! I want the money to buy a cube!!!

Actually, i should be hanging on to that money since I am currenly lacking the funds to go to Manifest later in the year n_n; I keep spending all my cash, except for the minimum amount I like to cling to for emergancies and blah.

I suppose it's not a bad thing if I don't get the job though, because then I'll be going to Sydney and can make Sereko take me shopping, and meet Philly-O. And I've been looking forward to going for a while. The people at the lab asked me if I could change my vacation plans to work n_n; And in the end, I'm trying to build up as much experience as I can so it's easier to get a job when I graduate at the end of the year. I'm thinking of bailing on the whole post-graduate medicine idea, despite having stressed, studied, crammed, and taken the exam already because I now find that I am very happy working in many sections of the lab (TA bench not included). Oh, what a fickle Mary I am. The results don't come out until the end of the month anyway, so maybe I will decide then. Maybe I bombed the test as badly as I think I did and won't have to make a decision after all ^^;;;

yay *dances about* I didn't have to work at the TA bench today. Whoopeee, Micro were very busy, so I got to shift over there XD Have to go back downstairs again tomorrow though n_n;

mmm, went to Chinatown with my parents 'cause it's mother's day. I gave my Mum a cute ceramic lucky cat and said it was from my brother and I ^_^ Since David isn't here, he asked me to buy something on his behalf. Went down to the Hi-fi shop while I was there and bought myself a few CDs: MAX Precious collection 1995-2002, Do as Infinity's "Do the best" and M.net Music Video Fest (which is like MTV awards in Korea and I bought almost purely so that I could watch Shinhwa and Kangta perform live XD;; ). The store has quite a few korean CDs now, but not Baby VOX's new album. I want it =[ It contains 4 CDs, but only cost as much as a regular CD. And I haven't got any of their albums so it's worth it for me to get this one (being a "best" album, covering their whole singing career).
